GREYROCK TRAIL AND HIGHWAY 14

We took a drive up highway 14, which is along the Cache La Poudre River. We did a little hiking at the Greyrock National Recreation Trail. It was 102 degrees on this day, so the hike was not as long as we wanted it to be. Thank God the weather has cooled down a bit! We did have a lot of fun and were suprised to see some cactus growing along the trail. There were several Kayakers floating down the river. What a perfect day for it, since it was so hot! When driving thru the canyon, you also get to see some awesome rock formations.
