Growing Pumpkins!

you can't imagine how excited I was to grow pumpkins this year! I have grown them in the past, but did not have a great result. This year, I decided to give it another try. I had NO idea if the two pumpkin plants I planted would grow or not?? At first, they seemed to have a hard time establishing. Then, with some feeding of Miracle Grow and water, they took off growing. Before long, my two tiny plants became two very large plants. They produced 17 pumpkins all together.

I have had fun using them in my outdoor Fall display. The girls already have their favorite pumpkins picked out for their Halloween Jack-O-Lanterns.
